Relationships: Melissa’s husband, Sahalie’s dad, reluctantly everybody’s boss

Personality: A neat freak that always looks like he just walked out of an outdoor catalog even if he just rolled out from under a car. Conflict avoidant. Introvert that can be friendly and social when he wants to but usually doesn’t want to. Very risk averse.

Quirks: Neat to the point of obsession. Folds his dirty laundry. Can’t stand clutter, mess, or chaos.

Flaws: He has an idealistic view of the world. He also isn’t aware of the dangers and obstacles women and girls face and is blind to his daughters abusers.

The Backstory: Raised by a single adoptive dad that was completely devoted to him, he grew up in a man’s world. His dad had a stroke and Woody cared for him until his death. It is that inheritance that provided the down payment for the Lodge. He has a mechanics degree.

Series Arc: He will arrive thinking that being the boss is sitting back and collecting the money. He has a lot to learn. He can fix anything but doesn’t see what he needs to fix is his marriage.
