Bee Air Therapy at Heathen Honey

A one-of-a-kind Southern Oregon experience near Roseburg

Just outside Roseburg, Heathen Honey offers something rare: a bee hive air therapy hut set beside lavender fields and orchards. Guests relax inside a cedar hut above a living hive, safely separated from the bees by mesh and wood, while experiencing the warmth, scent, vibration, and gentle hum of the hive.

Why Visit

This is not a typical attraction. It is quiet, sensory, seasonal, and deeply connected to the landscape. Heathen Honey describes its bee hut as one of only a handful of apitherapy hive air huts in the United States, and the only dedicated bee air therapy hut in Oregon.

It is a natural fit for guests looking for something slower than a hike, more unusual than a tasting room, and more restorative than another stop on the road.

What to Expect

A classic session includes a short welcome followed by time inside the hut, where you can sit or lie above the hive and settle into the rhythm of the bees. There is no direct contact with the bees during the hut experience.

Because the experience depends on bee activity and weather, Heathen Honey recommends booking when temperatures are roughly 65 degrees or warmer.
